Results of research project in which digital simulation model was developed to determine volume warrants at street intersections; study of 4-legged, right-angled intersection of high-volume major arterial street with lower-volume minor arterial street; major arterial had 4 travel lanes with parking prohibited, and minor arterial had 2 lanes with parking permitted on both sides; both arterials were operated as 2-way streets; semitraffic-actuated signal and 2-way stop sign intersection control were studied.
