12-fruit-carrying ships ordered recently; length of vessels are between 300 and 335 ft; beam between 42 ft 6 in. and 45 ft 6 in.; deadweight capacity between 2400 and 3200 tons; all are for Scandinavian owners, except one, and each is to be equipped with new type of Burmeister and Wain 2-stroke, single-acting engine; power is sufficient for speed of between 14 and 15 1/2 knots.
