By analyzing the exploitation process of selected electronic devices (including those used in communication and radiolocation systems), it can be concluded that they operate in heterogeneous, often extreme conditions. Their operate in a full ability state depends not only on the reliability of the subsystems that create them, but also on the effective management of their exploitation, including vulnerability and resistance to the impact of strong electromagnetic pulses. The article proposes specific criteria containing indicators that enable the assessment of the strong electromagnetic pulses impact on the functioning of selected electronic devices.
