The objective of the final work is the automation of traverse trolley. Develop a system which allow machine to operate automatically without human interference and increase the power of geared motors which allow to transport more load and also install a safety system. After analyzing components of machine, operating principle, operational problems, after problematic spots were identified there was offered solutions for solving mechanical and electrical problems. In the projecting part power of geared motors was calculated, the device schematic diagram and the plan for automatization is made also with communication schematics. Required components for automation were chosen. The algorithm for normal operation and machine control programs are made. Machine maintenance, environment, human safety instructions was made . In the economic part automation costs and payback period are calculated.
