Nowadays the environment issue is been paid much more attention. Road freight vehicles especially heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) are facing the low carbon challenge. This paper presents the technology of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as an alternative fuel and it gives the detail demonstration on adopting LNG fuel for HGVs by using Grey Situation Decision method. Finally, it will presents the future role of LNG heavy goods vehicle on the road freight transport in China.
