It's an effective way of reducing the high-speed railway traction energy consumption through adopting energy-saving ideas for railway line slope profile design. Through computer simulation and calculation, the paper analyzed the factors of energy-saving slope design, including the slope value of station's slope, distance from station center to energy-saving slope's grade change point, EMU marshaling weight, braking force coefficient, initial entry speed, and other factors. The paper established a method of inbound energy-saving slope design and verified the validity of the design method by example.
