Optimization and allocation of maintenance funds are essential in road maintenance decision-making, particularly when the existing funds are insufficient to meet the maintenance demands of the road network. This study focuses on the research of network-level road maintenance funds’ optimization and allocation techniques in a specific area, utilizing the dynamic programming model. A comparison is made with the traditional road maintenance priority sorting method to demonstrate its effectiveness in guiding the allocation of network-level road maintenance funds according to the objective of maintenance.
