Optimization of urban public transit network is an important means to improve the efficiency of urban public transit system. This paper presents an optimization objective function of public transit network which is taking into account the optimal cost of administrator and transit user, and restrictions through analyzing the optimization goals and restricted conditions of urban public transit line network with the equilibrium theory. A further multiple objective optimization model of public transit network based on traffic equilibrium theory is established through considering related factors of public transit network. Finally, the algorithm of the proposed model is established according to the system decomposition principle.
