Given the difference in body size and dynamic performance between passenger cars and trucks, they have inconsistent road demands. The radius of horizontal curve of the truck-only interchange ramp (TOIR) is one of the key indicators affecting the steering safety of the truck. In this paper, the six-axis articulated truck with a full load (SATFS) is selected as the designed vehicle. Combined with its dynamic performance, by analyzing the body tilt rate of SATFS and the elastic deformation caused by the suspension device, a vehicle steering mechanics model based on rigid-flexible coupling effect is established. The minimum radius of horizontal curve of the TOIR in the general area is respectively proposed. Finally, the rationality of the proposed value of the minimum radius of horizontal curve of TOIR is verified by Trucksim software simulation experiment.
