Drivers operate vehicles in accordance with the perception, reaction, and operation three-step in the horizontal curves. Driver perception, reaction, and operation relative to the maximum speed limit will cause added risk. When the vehicle leaves the horizontal curve, accidents happen. Therefore, through the analysis of the operation in the curve, a kinematic analysis method is used to develop the maximum safe speed calculation model from operation accuracy of driver. The model can be used to calculate road speed limits and road safety design value.
