At unsignalized intersections without traffic signals and clear right-of-way assignment, drivers must judge for themselves whether to pass the intersection. So the traffic order is chaotic, and traffic accidents often occur at unsignalized intersection. The article aimed to study drivers' deceleration behavior at unsignalized intersections. First, drivers' deceleration behavior will be analyzed, and some hypotheses on the influencing factors will be proposed according to the analysis. Second, a large number of data will be collected through field observation. The deceleration rate can be calculated, and the influencing factors can be chosen. At last, the model will be built between the deceleration rate and its influencing factors, then the model will be tested and the parameter will be calibrated.
