Railway operations are often influenced by geological or climate disasters in mountainous areas. The passenger train operation adjustment optimization model is established based on the ranks of different passenger trains aiming to obtain the whole minimum running time of all the delayed trains in adjusted routes. The method for solving the problem based on dynamic programming is also put forward. The model and its solving method prove valid by the calculation of an example.
