The theoretical foundations of fatigue crack growth kinetics in aircraft structures are presented. The influence of different cycles and modes of loading on crack growth rate is investigated. Modeling of the fatigue cracks propagation is carried out taking into account many factors. A semiphenomenological model of fatigue crack growth kinetics prediction is considered and refined, the possibility of its application to aircraft structures is shown.
