With the increasingly strict rules imposed on emissions from road transport and the problems related to oil resources, there is a growing interest in the use of alternative fuels. The aim of this article is to study and compare the effect of the use of ethanol and butanol additives with diesel fuel and their impact on emissions. This investigation is conducted with different blends of ethanol, butanol and diesel, by volume 10% ethanol and butanol (E10 and B10), and 20% ethanol and butanol (E20 and B20).
