A low rank generalized inverse system modeling technique was developed which enhanced the process of developing control signals for multiaxis road simulation. It is believed that the same techniques could be applied to produce similar results for other multiaxis test configurations as well. The technique provides the following benefits: Reduction in the number of steps required to create a system model. (Calculation of the H matrix is not required - the system inverse is calculated directly). Reduction in the number of iterations that were required to obtain a desired level of response simulation accuracy. Improvement in the accuracy of the simulation. Reduction in the amount of operator intervention that was required to obtain an accurate test.
