In this study, the transmissibility of two suspended seats used in construction and agricultural vehicles is investigated using random signals. A multi-axis shaking table and a Remote Parameter Control software are utilized to generate the vibration at the seat base in the vertical direction. Instead of different test persons an adjustable seat-test dummy is applied to realize the human dynamic response. Based on the seat tests, the influences of different factors on the seat transmissibility are investigated: the magnitude of vibration input signals, the human weight and the initial height of the seat.
