The problem of the introduction of intelligent information systems on the railway transport, capable of processing data with their inherent a priori uncertainty, is becoming increasingly relevant. The development of the intelligent transport systems allows achieving a qualitatively new level of creating systems with high reliability and efficient operation. Intelligent mechatronic control rail vehicles are of paramount importance in solving the problem of reducing wear on rails and wheels, and improving control. A passive-controlled rail vehicle is limited by mechanical constraints on structural elements. In intelligent mechatronic rail vehicles, actuators are used with conventional chassis structure components to provide the adjustable rigidity or damping forces necessary for manoeuvrability and traffic safety. The work presents an algorithm for determining the temporal parameters of the actuator operation. It is proposed to define the profile of a section of the path by changing the direction of the speed vector using a navigation satellite and inertial systems. The simulation of the operating modes of the intelligent system for controlling a rail vehicle is carried out by means of an example of a unified, jaw-free three-axle bogie with an individual drive of each wheel pair via a one-way and a single-stage traction gear unit from a traction gear direct current motor. This study demonstrates the advantages of intelligent mechatronic control. This also gives an idea of the efficiency of the intelligent rail driving system. Significant benefits are demonstrated in the simulated diesel locomotive with intelligent control system.
