This research paper provides a methodology for designing a CubeSat type satellite, which will be an Earth remote sensing satellite that will receive data on weather and environmental conditions from a Fourier spectrometer and gamma-ray spectrometer. The nanosatellite will need to be able to conduct research in outer space and in Earth orbit. Technological requirements, main features of development, requirements for operation and maintenance of the CubeSat type satellite are described. The results of calculation of energy parameters of the CubeSat satellite under development, calculation of stable data reception at the ground station from the CubeSat satellite is described. ground station from CUBESAT - 2S satellite.
