본 발명의 최대 노면 마찰계수 추정방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로는, 차량이 주행 중인 노면의 최대 마찰계수를 향상된 감도로 추정하도록 인위적인 제동 또는 구동 관련 제어를 실시하고 타이어의 슬립이 보상된 전륜 및 후륜 휠속 차이에 기반하는 최대 노면 마찰계수 추정방법에 관한 것이다.
