A system for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise a telematics server that receives a departure point and a destination point from a vehicle; controls an unmanned aerial vehicle to measure a communication sensitivity for each altitude of a shadow loss area by transmitting the shadow loss area information between the departure point and the destination to the unmanned aerial vehicle; calculates an optimal altitude path having relatively high communication sensitivity in the shadow loss area based on the communication sensitivity for each altitude of the shadow loss area measured through the unmanned aerial vehicle; and controls, when the vehicle passes the shadow loss area, the unmanned aerial vehicle to assist a communication function of the vehicle while flying along the optimal altitude path. Therefore, the present invention is capable of having an effect of providing a smooth communication environment between a control center, the unmanned aerial vehicle, and the vehicle.

    본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 무인비행체 제어 시스템은 차량으로부터 출발지와 목적지를 전달받고, 상기 출발지와 목적지 사이의 음영지역 정보를 무인비행체로 전달하여 상기 무인비행체가 상기 음영지역의 고도별 통신 감도를 측정하도록 제어하고, 상기 무인비행체를 통하여 측정한 상기 음영지역의 고도별 통신 감도를 기반으로 상기 음영지역에서 통신 감도가 상대적으로 높은 최적 고도 경로를 계산하고, 상기 차량이 상기 음영지역을 통과할 때, 상기 무인비행체가 상기 최적 고도 경로를 따라 비행하면서 상기 차량의 통신 기능을 보조하도록 제어하는 텔레매틱스 서버를 포함할 수 있다.
