One embodiment of the present invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle and a method for controlling the unmanned aerial vehicle. The unmanned aerial vehicle comprises: a flight control unit controlling flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle based on predetermined flight information; a short distance communication unit communicating with a sensor node in a short distance when the unmanned aerial vehicle flies within a short distance communication range of the sensor node; and a long distance communication unit communicating with a server in a long distance while the unmanned aerial vehicle flies to transmit information which the short distance communication unit receives to the server. Therefore, information can be collected in real time by a communication repeater between the sensor node and the server, and information can be stably collected by an information exchange agent.
본 발명의 일 실시예는 무인비행이동체 및 무인비행이동체 제어 방법에 관한 것으로서, 기 설정된 비행정보를 기초로 무인비행이동체의 비행을 제어하는 비행제어부; 무인비행이동체가 센서노드의 근거리 통신범위내에서 비행할 때 센서노드와 근거리 통신하는 근거리 통신부; 및 무인비행이동체의 비행중 서버와 원거리 통신하여 상기 근거리 통신부가 수신한 정보를 서버에 송신하는 원거리 통신부; 를 포함함으로써, 센서노드와 서버간의 통신 리피터(repeater) 역할에 의한 실시간 정보수집 또는 정보교환 에이젼트(agent) 역할에 의한 안정적인 정보수집을 가능케한다.
