The present invention relates to a system and a method for controlling vibration of a steering wheel, and relates to a system and a method for actively controlling vibration of a steering wheel of a vehicle, which is capable of actively controlling the vibration of the steering wheel in accordance with a driver′s setting, when a driver directly sets and inputs a vibration control state and a vibration reduction degree on the basis of a subjective determination, unlike a simple control way with regard to the vibration of the steering wheel. The system for actively controlling the vibration of the steering wheel of a vehicle comprises: a frequency detecting unit to detect and output a vibration frequency ingredient with regard to a left and right rotation displacement of the steering wheel from a detection signal from a steering sensor or a vibration sensor; an input unit configured to be capable of setting and inputting a vibration control mode by the driver; a signal processing unit to output a vibration frequency signal which reflects the driver′s setting by processing a signal of the vibration frequency data outputted in the frequency detecting unit in accordance with set information of the vibration control mode; a phase shift unit to generate and output a phase shift signal with regard to the vibration frequency signal outputted in the signal processing unit; and a control current calculating unit to calculate and output a vibration control current for a vibration reduction from the phase shift signal outputted in the phase shift unit.

    본 발명은 스티어링휠 진동 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 스티어링휠 진동에 대한 단순 억제 방식이 아닌 운전자가 주관적인 판단에 의거 진동 제어 상태나 진동 감쇄 정도를 직접 설정하여 입력할 경우 운전자 설정에 따라 스티어링휠 진동을 능동적으로 제어할 수 있는 차량 스티어링휠 진동 능동 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
