본 발명은 군집제어서버가 경로가 중복되는 자율주행 차량을 군집하여 주행시키고 이들의 운행을 그룹으로 일괄 제어하므로 주행 안정성을 확보하면서 교통 체증을 현저하게 억제한다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 자율주행 차량의 군집 주행 시스템은 목적지 정보를 입력하는 입력부, 목적지 정보에서 경로 정보를 추출하는 제어부, 및 상기 경로 정보를 송신하는 통신부,를 포함하여 이루어지는 적어도 하나의 자율주행 차량; 및 상기 통신부가 송신한 경로 정보에 따라 경로가 중복되는 복수개의 자율주행 차량을 군집하여 주행하도록 제어하는 군집제어서버;를 포함한다.

    In the present invention, a platooning control server makes autonomous vehicles with overlapping paths drive together and collectively controls the operation of the autonomous vehicles as a group, and thus a driving safety is secured and a traffic congestion is significantly eased. A platooning system of autonomous vehicles according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: at least one autonomous vehicle comprising an input unit which enters destination information, a control unit which extracts path information from the destination information, and a communication unit which transmits the path information; and a platooning control server which controls a plurality of autonomous vehicles with overlapping paths to drive together according to the path information transmitted from the communication unit.
