To provide a fluid machinery and an underwater sailing body which can be compactified while improving efficiency.SOLUTION: A fluid machinery comprises: a shank; a shroud which forms a fluid channel whose inner peripheral surface is reduced as it goes from an upstream side to a downstream side, and whose cross sectional area of the fluid channel between the shank and the shroud is reduced as it goes to the downstream side; a propeller which is rotatably arranged around the axial line between the shank and the shroud and pressurizes and feeds fluid from the upstream side to the downstream side; and a motor arranged corresponding to the propeller which includes a rotor fixed to a periphery part of the propeller in a ring-shape and accommodated in the shroud, and a stator being in a ring-shape covering the rotor and fixed to inside of the shroud. A plurality of propellers are arranged separated in the axial direction, the same number of motors as the propellers are arranged to correspond to each propeller, and average outside diameters of rotors of the plurality of motors become smaller in the motors which are positioned coming to the downstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】効率を向上させながらコンパクト化を図ることができる流体機械及び水中航走体を提供する。【解決手段】軸部と、内周面が上流側から下流側に向かうにしたがって縮径するとともに、軸部との間で下流側に向かうにしたがって流路断面積が小さくなる流路を形成するシュラウドと、軸部とシュラウドとの間で軸線回りに回転可能に設けられて、上流側から下流側に向かって流体を圧送するプロペラと、プロペラに対応するように設けられて、プロペラの外周部に固定されたリング状をなしシュラウド内に収容されたロータ、及び、ロータを囲うリング状をなしシュラウド内に固定されたステータを有するモータと、を備え、プロペラは、軸線方向に離間して複数が設けられており、各プロペラに対応するように各プロペラと同数のモータが設けられており、複数のモータは下流側に位置するモータほどロータの平均外径が小さくなる。【選択図】図3
