To achieve an article conveyance system which can suppress deterioration of operational efficiency of an unmanned carrier in a busy period without increasing the number of charging facilities.SOLUTION: A control section 50 selectively executes first control in which at least one of charging of a first power storage device 11 and power supply to a travel section 14 by receiving power supply from a second power storage device 21 through a second power transmission section 23 and a first power reception section 12 in a holding state in which an unmanned carrier 10 holds a conveyance body 20 in a holding section 15, and second control in which the second power storage device 21 is charged by receiving power supply from the first power storage device 11 through a first power transmission section 13 and a second power reception section 22 in the holding state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】充電設備の数を多くし過ぎることなく、繁忙期における無人搬送車の運用効率の低下も抑えることができる物品搬送システムを実現する。【解決手段】制御部50は、無人搬送車10が保持部15に搬送体20を保持している状態である保持状態で、第2送電部23と第1受電部12とを介して、第2蓄電装置21からの電力の供給を受けて第1蓄電装置11の充電及び走行部14への電力供給の少なくとも一方を行う第1制御と、保持状態で、第1送電部13と第2受電部22とを介して、第1蓄電装置11からの電力の供給を受けて第2蓄電装置21の充電を行う第2制御と、を選択的に実行する。【選択図】図2
