To provide a steering holding sensor which suppresses deterioration of inspection accuracy, and improves the inspection accuracy.SOLUTION: A steering holding sensor 100 comprises: a planar driven electrode 113 along a rim of a steering; a planar sensor electrode 112 opposite to the driven electrode 113; a sine wave generation part 41 supplying a sine wave voltage to the driven electrode 113; a charge amplifier 44 including a feedback capacitive element C11, detecting the change of a charging amount generated by an electrostatic capacitance of the sensor electrode 112, and outputting the change of the electric charge amount as the change of a voltage; a multiplication processing part 52 multiplying the sine wave voltage and an output voltage of the charge amplifier 44; an integrator 54 smoothing a multiplication result of the multiplication processing part 52 by integrating; and a holding determination part 56 determining the presence/absence of holding to a steering in accordance with a level of the multiplication result to be smoothed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
