To quickly and accurately estimate the load swing angle of a crane at low cost.SOLUTION: A load swing angle estimation device 50 for a crane comprises: sound wave receivers M1 to M3 arranged along a predetermined direction; a time difference calculation unit 51 that calculates the time difference ΔT1 and ΔT2, which are the deviations in the timing of each sound wave receiver M1 to M3 receiving the sound generated by a suspended load support or a suspended load supported by the suspended load support; a distance difference calculation unit 52 that expresses the distance difference ΔD1 and ΔD2, which are the difference between the distances from the sound generation position to each sound wave receiver M1 to M3, by functions F1(θ) and F2(θ) with the load swing angle θ as a parameter; and a load swing angle calculation unit 53 that calculates "V×ΔT1=F1(θ)" satisfying the distance differences ΔD1 and ΔD2, and obtains a load swing angle θ using "V×ΔT2=F2(θ)", where the speed of sound is unknown V.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
