To realize congestion prediction including a road without a facility such as a traffic counter.SOLUTION: A congestion prediction program causes a computer to execute processing of: acquiring probe data including a position and velocity of a vehicle which is mounted with an on-vehicle machine from the on-vehicle machine; calculating a congestion degree at a predetermined intersection on the basis of a set of the probe data to be acquired for every on-vehicle machine; and calculating a predicted value of congestion length after predetermined time on the basis of a time zone in which the set of the probe data is acquired and an actual value of congestion length variation corresponding to the congestion degree calculated from the set of the probe data of congestion result data with which the actual value of the congestion length variation in which the congestion length of the intersection varies after the predetermined time from the time zone for every time zone and every congestion degree is associated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】トラフィックカウンタ等の設備がない道路を含めて渋滞予測を実現すること。【解決手段】渋滞予測プログラムは、車載機から車載機を搭載する車両の位置および速度を含むプローブデータを取得し、車載機ごとに取得されるプローブデータの集合に基づいて所定の交差点における渋滞度を算出し、時間帯別および渋滞度別に時間帯から所定時間後に交差点の渋滞長が変化する渋滞長変位の実測値が対応付けられた渋滞実績データのうち、プローブデータの集合が取得される時間帯及びプローブデータの集合から算出された渋滞度に対応する渋滞長変位の実測値に基づいて所定時間後における渋滞長の予測値を算出する、処理をコンピュータに実行させる。【選択図】図3
