PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately perform a congestion prediction by accurately acquiring a congestion state of a prediction object area at a prediction start point.SOLUTION: A congestion prediction device 2 for predicting a congestion state of a prediction object area has a prediction data generation unit 30 which generates as prediction data 31 the number of people who will pass through a measurement point arranged in a prediction object area until a prediction time elapses from a current time on the basis of measurement data 11 indicating the number of people who have passed through the measurement point. The congestion prediction device 2 has a congestion prediction processing unit 40 which generates a congestion prediction result 410 predicting a congestion state of the prediction object area until the prediction time elapses from the current time by using the prediction data 31 and a congestion state result 210 indicating a congestion state of the prediction object area at the current time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】予測開始時点における予測対象領域の混雑状況を正確に取得することにより、高精度に混雑予測を実施することを目的とする。【解決手段】予測対象領域の混雑状況を予測する混雑予測装置2は、予測対象領域に設けられた計測地点を通過した人の人数を表す計測データ11に基づいて、現在時刻から予測時間が経過するまでに計測地点を通過する人の人数を予想データ31として生成する予想データ生成部30を備える。また、混雑予測装置2は、予想データ31と、現在時刻における予測対象領域の混雑状況を表す混雑状況結果210とを用いて、現在時刻から予測時間が経過するまでの予測対象領域の混雑状況を予測した混雑予測結果410を生成する混雑予測処理部40を備える。【選択図】図1
