To provide an operation adjustment method applicable also to a case of a relatively long prediction time concerning a trajectory.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for planning and carrying out an operation for a vehicle by means of a control instrument within the vehicle, in which the control instrument has a strategic planning level for carrying out route planning, a tactical planning level for providing a trajectory that correctly conforms to a traffic lane to a possible target point, and an operational planning level for selecting a single target point and selecting a travelable trajectory to the selected target point. Concerning this, the planning levels are executed hierarchically, and when executing each of the planning levels, information exchange with an adjacent vehicle is carried out for determining a collision via a communication connection. In this case, when a collision is determined in at least one of the planning levels, an operation adjustment between the vehicles is carried out via the communication connection.
