To suppress a shock associated with switching between traveling modes during traveling with engine braking.SOLUTION: When a traveling mode is switched between a U/D engine-braking mode (a first traveling mode) and an O/D engine-braking mode (a second traveling mode) during traveling with engine braking, switching between the traveling modes is executed in such a manner that an engine rotation speed Ne is kept constant in the process of switching between the traveling modes, so that a change in the engine rotation speed Ne is suppressed upon switching between the traveling modes, thereby making it possible to suppress the fluctuation of engine braking torque. As a result, it is possible to suppress a shock associated with switching between the traveling modes (that is, switching between the engine-braking modes) during traveling with engine braking.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19

    【課題】機関ブレーキ走行中における走行モードの切替えに伴うショックを抑制する。【解決手段】エンジンブレーキ走行中にU/Dエンブレモード(第1走行モード)とO/Dエンブレモード(第2走行モード)との間で走行モードを切り替えるときには、その走行モードの切替え過渡中にエンジン回転速度Neが一定に維持されるようにその走行モードの切替えが実行されるので、その走行モードの切替え時にエンジン回転速度Neの変化が抑制されてエンジンブレーキトルクの変動が抑制され得る。よって、エンジンブレーキ走行中における走行モードの切替え(つまりエンブレモードの切替え)に伴うショックを抑制することができる。【選択図】図19
