To provide a die for a vehicular wheel member in which the generation of shrinkage cavities is suppressed and the uniformization of the quality of each part can be attained, and further, cycle time taken for casting can be reduced, and a method for producing a vehicular wheel member using the same.SOLUTION: A horizontal type lower cooling circuit 17 is arranged so as to surround the outer circumference of a rim part cavity 21 (crossover part cavities 21c, 21d). In each of cooling passages 17b, 17c, 17d, 17e, 17f, a portion made closest to the rim part cavity 21 is present. This portion is defined as a close portion. In a portion in which the thickness in the radial direction of the rim part cavity 21 is almost the same, the distance between the close portion and the cooling passage is made almost the same, and, in the thick close portion, the distance is set to be small with respect to the thin close portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
