PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular wheel having a structure improved in aerodynamic performance without impairing risk that a wheel cover falls off and designability, and a manufacturing method of the vehicular wheel.SOLUTION: A vehicular wheel 1 includes: a wheel body 10 having a rim 2 and a disc 3; and a straightening vane 5 for straightening an airstream A flowing on a wheel surface side during traveling of a vehicle. The straightening vane 5 is ring-plate shaped and covers a disc outer diameter region on a design surface side of the disc 3. Further, on an outer side rim flange 21 of a vehicle outside portion of the rim 2, an outer edge part of the straightening vane 5 is joined in a circumferential direction by friction stir welding, and at a position of a start point or an end point of the friction stir welding, a drain hole 12 penetrating the straightening vane 5 is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】ホイールカバーのような脱落のおそれや意匠性を損なうことなく空力性能の向上を図る構造を備える車両用ホイール及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両用ホイール1は、リム2とディスク3を備えるホイール本体10と、車両走行時のホイール表面側に流れる空気流Aを整流するための整流板5とを備える。整流板5は、ディスク3のデザイン面側のディスク外径領域を覆うリング板状に形成され、リム2の車両外側部位のアウター側リムフランジ21に整流板5の外縁部が周方向に摩擦攪拌接合により接合され、摩擦攪拌接合の始点又は終点の位置には整流板5を貫通する水抜き穴12が設けられている。【選択図】図1
