To provide a cooling device of an internal combustion engine, which can early raise a temperature of cooling water when a cooling request is issued.SOLUTION: During warming-up operation of an engine (YES determination in ST4), if a blower command signal is ON or an air-conditioning command signal is ON (NO determination in ST5), it is determined whether or not an air-conditioning command signal is a cool MAX request (ST8). When the air-conditioning command signal is the cool MAX request (YES determination in ST8), a water stop is executed for not supplying cooling water to a heater core (ST6). With this, heat quantity of the cooling water taken away by the heater core and a heater core water path becomes zero, and during the warming-up operation, a temperature rise of the cooling water is prevented from becoming slow. As a result, it become possible to early complete the warming-up operation of the engine and improve a fuel consumption rate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】冷房要求が生じている場合に冷却水の温度を早期に上昇させることができる内燃機関の冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】エンジンの暖機運転中(ST4でYES判定)、ブロワ指令信号がON、または、エアコン指令信号がONである場合(ST5でNO判定)、エアコン指令信号がクールMAX要求であるか否かを判定する(ST8)。エアコン指令信号がクールMAX要求である場合(ST8でYES判定)には、ヒータコアに冷却水を供給することのない水止めを実行する(ST6)。これにより、ヒータコアおよびヒータコア水路の配管により奪われる冷却水の熱量を零にし、暖機運転中に、冷却水の温度上昇が緩慢になってしまうことを抑制する。その結果、エンジンの暖機運転を早期に完了させることができ、燃料消費率の改善を図ることができる。【選択図】図4
