To provide an energy-saving deceleration travel control method which makes a maximum use of the capacity of an energy-regenerative device mounted on a rolling stock for energy regeneration and accumulation.SOLUTION: A rolling stock having a regenerative device, which regenerates and stores the kinetic energy of a travelling rolling stock during deceleration travel to make use of the same for (a part of) the drive energy during later acceleration travel and constant speed travel, specifies in advance a vehicle speed range (v2≤v≤v1) capable of acquiring a high regenerative efficiency of a predetermined value or more, and capable of stably braking, so that, by traveling on deceleration travel, under coasting during v>v1 of vehicle speed v, regenerative brake travel during v2≤v≤v1, and friction brake travel during v

    【課題】車両に搭載したエネルギー回生装置の能力を最大限にエネルギー回生・蓄積に生かした省エネルギー減速走行制御方法。【解決手段】走行する車両の運動エネルギーを減速走行時回生・蓄積し、それを後の加速走行・定速走行時の駆動エネルギー(の一部)とする回生制動装置を有する車両において、所定値以上の高回生効率が得られかつ安定した制動が可能な車両速度範囲(v2≦v≦v1)をあらかじめ特定し、減速走行に際して、車両速度 v が v>v1の間は惰性走行で、v2≦v≦v1の間は回生制動走行で、v<v2の間は摩擦制動走行で、各々走行することによって、車両の減速走行を省エネルギーかつ減速走行距離を短縮して安定に行うことを可能にする。【選択図】 図1
