PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train detecting device at a railway crossing which, keeping optimizing cost performance effect of rail plating and not causing any problem of noise, can surely detect approaching trains.SOLUTION: A train detecting device comprises first rail plating applied to a first section of a rail 10 which section corresponds to a start point of a railway crossing and a first detector to detect at least one of a warning start and a function end of a railway crossing. The first rail plating has a groove 31 formed in at least one condition among a prescribed width, a prescribed depth or a prescribed shape on a top surface of a rail touching wheels of trains and blazing metal which is deposited in the groove at a prescribed temperature and during prescribed time period and contains silver as main component. After deposition, the blazing metal is naturally cooled and ground to have height less than prescribed height. The prescribed height is equal to or higher than 0.2 mm and equal to or lower than 0.5 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】レールめっきのコスト対効果を最適化しつつ騒音などの問題も生じさせない、列車の接近を確実に検出できる踏切における列車検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】列車検出装置は、レール10における踏切の始動点に対応する第1区間に施される第1レールめっきと、踏切での警報開始および動作終了の少なくとも一方を検出する第1検出器を備える。第1レールめっきは、レールで列車の車輪と接触する頭部表面に、所定幅、所定深さおよび所定形状の少なくとも一つの条件で形成された溝31と、溝に所定温度条件および所定時間条件で溶着された、銀を主成分とする金属ろう剤と、を有する。金属ろう剤は、溶着後に自然冷却および所定高さ未満での研磨を受ける。所定高さは、0.2mm以上0.5mm以下である。【選択図】図2
