PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying mobile body capable of landing at a target arrival point more accurately, and a launching system thereof, and to provide a flying mobile body capable of movement below a minimum flight distance after landing.SOLUTION: A flying mobile body comprises an outer shell structure, a wheel, a propulsion device, and a control unit. The wheel is arranged such that the direction of the rotation axis thereof is the same with the direction of thrust force to be produced by the propulsion device. The control unit causes the wheel to produce an angular momentum, and then causes the propulsion device to produce thrust force for takeoff and flight of the flying mobile body, while causing the wheel to continue producing the angular momentum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
