PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a grounding position which is erroneously specified even if there is a shield at a footing of a pedestrian or the like being a detection object, and the grounding position of the pedestrian or the like cannot be correctly specified.SOLUTION: A person detection device 20 comprises: an image acquisition part 21 for acquiring an image which is photographed by an imaging device 10; a person detection part 22 for detecting a person from the image; a grounding position specifying part 23 for specifying a grounding position of the person on the basis of a lower end part of the person; a head part extraction part 24 for extracting a head part of the person; a head and body calculation part 25 for calculating a head and body on the basis of a magnitude of the person in a vertical direction and a magnitude of the extracted head part in the vertical direction; and a correction determination part 26 for determining the presence or absence of the correction of the grounding position on the basis of the grounding position or the head and body.
