PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve steering stability, a road surface followability, and ride comfort, while suppressing a rise in cost.SOLUTION: In a rear suspension device 1 of an automobile, a damper 51 is provided vertically to an H-shaped lower arm 3 in a side view, and axes L2, L4f, and L4r of elastic bushes 22, 33f, and 33r in all of journal portions 21, 32f, and 32r on a vehicle body side of both upper and lower arms 2 and 3 are parallel to a reference line L1 in a vehicle fore-and-aft direction in a plane view. A virtual axis L9 connecting centers 35fc and 35rc of coupling portions 35f and 35r on front and rear sides of a wheel side of the lower arm 3 extends while inclining inward in a forward vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
