PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion system for railway vehicle capable of preventing deformation of a radiation fin at foreign material collision while suppressing deterioration in the cooling performance of the radiation fin.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion system 100 for railway vehicle is equipped with: an electric power conversion system body 30 including semiconductor switching element groups 31a to 31e; and a radiation fin 62 discharging the heat of switching element groups 31a to 31e. The radiation fin 62 includes an inclination part 62d provided at the front end part 62c of a high speed railway vehicle 10 in a direction of travel, and inclined to extend rearward in the direction of travel from the root part 62a side of the radiation fin 62 toward the tip 62b side of that fin 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
