PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device that can suppress decrease in continuously drivable distances even if a conversion portion does not function.SOLUTION: The driving device comprises: a first capacitor; a second capacitor; a driving portion that drives by being supplied power from at least one of the first capacitor and the second capacitor; a charging/discharging circuit which includes a first converting portion that converts output voltages from the first capacitor and a second converting portion that converts output voltages from the second capacitor and constitutes a current passage among the first capacitor, the second capacitor, and the driving portion; a detecting portion that detects a state where the first converting portion does not function; and a control portion that controls charging/discharging between the first capacitor, the second capacitor, and the driving portion through the charging/discharging circuit. The control portion, when detecting the state where the first converting portion does not function on the basis of a relation between a first variable, a charging rate or an output voltage of the first capacitor and a deterioration factor, controls the charging/discharging circuit so that control by which only the first capacitor supplies power to the driving portion or control by which power from the first capacitor is transferred to the second capacitor is performed, until the first variable falls down to a first predetermined value in a favorable range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12

    【課題】変換部が機能しない状態となっても航続可能距離の減少を抑制可能な駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】駆動装置は、第1蓄電器と、第2蓄電器と、第1蓄電器及び第2蓄電器の少なくとも一方からの供給電力により駆動する駆動部と、第1蓄電器の出力電圧を変換する第1変換部及び第2蓄電器の出力電圧を変換する第2変換部を含み、第1蓄電器と第2蓄電器と駆動部の間の電流経路を構成する充放電回路と、第1変換部が機能しない状態を検知する検知部と、充放電回路を介した第1蓄電器と第2蓄電器と駆動部の間の充放電を制御する制御部を備える。制御部は、第1蓄電器の充電率又は出力電圧である第1変数と劣化因子の関係に基づき、第1変換部が機能しない状態を検知した場合は、好適領域内の第1所定値に第1変数が低下するまで、第1蓄電器のみが駆動部に電力を供給する制御又は第1蓄電器の電力を第2蓄電器に移す制御を行うよう充放電回路を制御する。【選択図】図12
