PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel electric driving device which prevents enlargement of the size in a radial direction since an electric motor part is integrated with an electronic control part with a redundant system in the electric driving device, and has a simple heat radiation structure by reducing the number of components as much as possible; and to provide an electric power steering device.SOLUTION: An electric driving device comprises: a motor housing 20 in which an electric motor is housed; a heat radiation base body 23 fixed to an end surface of the motor housing on a side opposite to an output part of a rotary shaft of the electric motor, and extending in a rotary shaft direction on a side opposite to the output part; one electronic control means with a redundant system having substrates 24 and 25 arranged in a direction in which the heat radiation base body 23 extends, and fixed to the heat radiation base body in a heat conductive manner; and the other electronic control means with a redundant system having substrates 26 and 27 arranged in a direction in which the heat radiation base body extends, and fixed to the heat radiation base body in a heat conductive manner. The substrates of the one electronic control means and the substrates of the other electronic control means are inclined relative to the direction in which the heat radiation base body extends, and mounted on the heat radiation base body, and heat is radiated from the motor housing through the heat radiation base body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】冗長系を備える電子制御部と一体化された電動モータ部よりなる電動駆動装置が半径方向に大型化するのを抑制すると共に、できるだけ部品点数を少なくして構成が簡単な放熱構造を備える新規な電動駆動装置及び電動パワーステアリング装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】電動モータが収納されたモータハウジング20と、電動モータの回転軸の出力部とは反対側のモータハウジングの端面に固定され、出力部とは反対側の回転軸方向に延びる放熱基体23と、放熱基体23が延びる方向に沿って配置され、放熱基体に熱伝導可能に固定された基板24、25を備える冗長系の一方の電子制御手段と、放熱基体が延びる方向に沿って配置され、放熱基体に熱伝導可能に固定された基板26、27を備える冗長系の他方の電子制御手段とを備え、一方の電子制御手段の基板、及び他方の電子制御手段の基板を、放熱基体が延びる方向に対して傾斜して放熱基体に取り付け、放熱基体を介してモータハウジングから放熱する。【選択図】図3
