PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric driving device which prevents enlargement of the size in a radial direction since the electric driving device is integrated with an electronic control part with a redundant system in the electric driving device, and reduces the number of components as much as possible; and to provide an electric power steering device.SOLUTION: A heat radiation base body 23 extending in a rotary shaft direction is provided near a rotary shaft of an electric motor on an end surface of a motor housing 20 where the electric motor is housed. One substrate 24 (electronic control part) with a redundant system is fixed to the heat radiation base body in a heat conductive manner in a direction in which the heat radiation base body extends, and the other substrate 26 (electronic control part) is fixed to the heat radiation base body in a heat conductive manner so as to face the one substrate (electronic control part). Since a housing which houses the electronic control part that makes a cover 29 covering them fixed to the end surface of the motor housing without using a bolt is not needed any more, and a part to be sealed is only a connection part between the motor housing and the cover, an additional structure for the sealing part is unnecessary, and components and bolts necessary for sealing can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】冗長系を備える電子制御部と一体化された電動駆動装置が半径方向に大型化するのを抑制すると共に、部品点数を少なくした電動駆動装置及び電動パワーステアリング装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】電動モータが収納されたモータハウジング20の端面に、電動モータの回転軸付近で回転軸方向に延びる放熱基体23を設け、この放熱基体が延びる方向に沿って冗長系の一方の電子制御部の基板24を熱伝導可能に放熱基体に固定し、この一方の電子制御部の基板に向かい合うようにして、冗長系の他方の電子制御部の基板26を熱伝導可能に放熱基体が延びる方向に沿って放熱基体に固定し、更にこれらを覆うカバー29をボルトを使用しないでモータハウジングの端面に固定した電子制御部を収納するハウジングが必要なくなり、シールする部分はモータハウジングとカバーとの結合部だけであるので、シール部分の付加的な構造や、シールに必要な部品やボルトを少なくできる。【選択図】図3
