PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel electric driving device which prevents enlargement of the size in a radial direction since an electric motor part is integrated with electronic control means with a redundant system in the electric driving device, and has a simple heat radiation structure by reducing the number of components as much as possible; and to provide an electric power steering device.SOLUTION: A heat radiation base body 23 extending in a rotary shaft direction is provided near a rotary shaft 50 of an electric motor, adjacent to an electric motor part EM. One substrate 24 (electronic control means) with a redundant system is fixed to the heat radiation base body 23 in a direction in which the heat radiation base body 23 extends, which allows heat to be transferred, and the other substrate 26 (electronic control means) is fixed to the heat radiation base body 23 so as to face the one substrate 24 (electronic control means), which allows heat to be transferred. Heat from each of the substrates (electronic control means) 24 and 26 is radiated to a motor housing 20 through the heat radiation base body 23. The electric driving device can be downsized in a radial direction, and since heat is radiated to the housing of the electric motor part via the heat radiation base body, the heat from the substrates can be efficiently radiated to the outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】冗長系を備える電子制御手段と一体化された電動モータ部よりなる電動駆動装置が半径方向に大型化するのを抑制すると共に、できるだけ部品点数を少なくして構成が簡単な放熱構造を備える新規な電動駆動装置及び電動パワーステアリング装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】電動モータ部EMに隣接して電動モータの回転軸50付近で回転軸方向に延びる放熱基体23を設け、放熱基体23が延びる方向に沿って冗長系の一方の電子制御手段の基板24を熱移動可能に放熱基体23に固定し、一方の電子制御手段の基板24に向かい合うようにして、他方の電子制御手段の基板26を熱移動可能に放熱基体23に固定し、夫々の電子制御手段の基板24、26からの熱を放熱基体23を介してモータハウジング20に放熱する。半径方向の大きさを縮小して小型化することができ、更に、放熱基体を介して電動モータ部のハウジングに放熱されるので、基板からの熱を効率よく外部に放熱することができる。【選択図】図3
