PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar heating element for a light emitter, which is high in transparency and heat generation efficiency, and which is superior in shaping processability and adequate in resistance to moisture and heat.SOLUTION: A planar heating element 10 for a light emitter comprises a carbon nanotube layer 12 and a coating layer 13 on at least one face of a base material 11. In the planar heating element for a light emitter, the total light transmittance is 75% or more, and the change rate (R) of a surface resistance value after a wet heat test (an exposure under an atmosphere at 85°C and 85%RH for 500 hours) is 50% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
