PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship maneuvering control method by which a stable azimuth control can be performed.SOLUTION: A direction of a thrust of a propeller is controlled based on a target yaw rate and an actual yaw rate. Thus, since an azimuth control is performed in such a manner that a direction of a thrust of the propeller is controlled based on both of the target yaw rate (change speed in a target azimuth) and the actual yaw rate (change speed in an actual azimuth) when performing an azimuth control of a ship, convergence in an azimuth targetting on an actual azimuth of a ship can be quickly achieved compared to the case in which an azimuth control of a ship is performed based on only a difference between a target azimuth and an actual azimuth of the ship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11

    【課題】安定した方位制御を行うことが可能な船舶の操船制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】目標ヨーレートと実際のヨーレートとに基づいて、推進機の推力の方向を制御する。これにより、船舶の方位制御を行う場合には、目標ヨーレート(目標とする方位の変化速度)と実際のヨーレートと(実際の方位の変化速度)の両方に基づいて推進機の推力の方向が制御されて方位制御が行われるので、目標とする方位と船舶の実際の方位との差にのみ基づいて船舶の方位制御を行う場合に比べて、船舶の実際の方位を目標とする方位に迅速に収束させることができる。【選択図】図11
