PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle steering control device that ensures that the effective transfer ratio of a steering angle of steered front wheels to a steering wheel steering angle is a linearly stable value over a wide steering range even when a bush formed from an elastic material such as rubber is assembled into a steering system.SOLUTION: Steering-transfer-ratio control means for reducing a transfer ratio of a steering angle of steered front wheels to a steering angle of a steering wheel when an angle of tire slideslip of the steered front wheels is in a region in which self-aligning torque is reduced as the angle of tire slideslip increases as opposed to when the angle of tire slideslip of the steered front wheels is in a region in which the self-aligning torque is increased as the angle of tire slideslip increases, is incorporated into a vehicle steering control device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】操舵系にゴム等の弾性材よりなるブッシュが組み込まれていても広い操舵域に亙ってステアリングホイール操舵角に対する操舵前輪の操舵角の実効伝達比を線型的に安定した値とする車輌用操舵制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】操舵前輪のタイヤ横滑り角がその増大に伴ってセルフアライニングトルクを増大させる領域にあるときに対比して操舵前輪のタイヤ横滑り角がその増大に伴ってセルフアライニングトルクを減少させる領域にあるときステアリングホイールの操舵角に対する操舵前輪の操舵角の伝達比を低減する操舵伝達比制御手段を車輌用操舵制御装置に組み込む。【選択図】図5
