PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery heating system of a hybrid vehicle, which allows for quick discharge for propelling the hybrid vehicle by discharging or charging the storage battery that is loaded together with a power generator as a power source of the hybrid vehicle, thereby heating the storage battery.SOLUTION: A storage battery heating system of a hybrid vehicle (Vs, Vp) comprises: battery monitoring means Mbt for detecting whether or not a storage battery B is within a predetermined temperature range (R0-R5:Scc); discharge load variable means for varying a discharge load of the storage battery B; and heating control means (C, I(C)) for determining whether or not the storage battery B needs to be heated based on a detected temperature range (Scc) of the storage battery B, and controlling the discharge load variable means thereby causing the storage battery to discharge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
