PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy recovery equipment and a ship capable of suppressing the size thereof, and an installation method for the energy recovery equipment.SOLUTION: An energy recovery equipment X1 for recovering the energy of a heat medium through a working medium comprises: an expander 3, into which the working medium heated by the heat medium flows; an electric generator 4 connected with the expander 3 for recovering the power of the expander 3; and a condensation part 60 for condensing the working medium having flown out of the expander 3, and the expander 3 is positioned within a height range between the upper end part 63 and the lower end part 74 of the condensation part 60 in the gravity direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
