PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor that achieves high density of detected magnetic flux and high accuracy of detection.SOLUTION: A torque sensor 17 includes a pair of magnetic yokes 27 and 28 that are disposed in a magnetic field of a multipolar magnet 26 rotating integrally with, for example, a first shaft 21 and integrally rotate with, for example, a second shaft 22. The torque sensor 17 further includes flux-concentrating elements 29 and 30 magnetically coupled to the magnetic yokes 27 and 28 respectively and a magnetic flux detection element 34. The flux-concentrating elements 29 and 30 have couples made of a pair of flux-concentrating parts (flux-concentrating projections 29b and 30b; 29c and 30c) opposed to each other. The magnetic flux detection element 34 includes: a substrate 31 with notches 40 and 41 formed; and Hall ICs 32 and 33 that have a Hall element disposed between the pair of flux-concentrating parts and are mounted so as to straddle the respective notches 40 and 41 in parallel with the substrate 31. At least a portion of one of the pair of flux-concentrating parts is disposed inside the notches 40 and 41.
